The Uganda Diaspora comprises Ugandans and people of Ugandan heritage living and working across the world. Government diaspora engagement is coordinated through institutions including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Uganda's missions abroad.
The Diaspora Department's mandate focuses on strengthening engagement with Ugandans abroad and enabling their contribution to national development through investment, skills, specialist knowledge, technology, networks and other forms of participation.
